3,500 Souls Added to MCGI in One Day

Published: March 11, 2010

On the 19th of February 2010, less than 4000 have found their way to God. This was the biggest batch ever recorded in MCGI history.

Brother Eli Soriano, MCGI Presiding Minister, triumphantly declared this remarkable event on his Twitter account
http://twitter.com/BroEliSoriano.

“I have yesterday moved a mountain through faith. Less than 4,000 souls changed camp!” he tweeted.

The baptism was officiated at central office in Apalit, Pampanga. The entire congregation around the world celebrated this delightful event especially when the final count of souls who have accepted the baptism was announced. The same spirit of joy felt here in Singapore for some of its new members are also fruits of that worldwide mass indoctrination.

On the first day of the indoctrination session there were more than 12,000 visitors crowded the MCGI locales as reported by Brother Daniel Razon, the Church Vice-Presiding Minister. This doesn’t include those who attended in different locales abroad.

In his closing remarks on that day of the baptism ceremony, Brother Eli welcomed the newly baptized and reminded them to stick in faith that they received and hold on to the doctrines of Christ until the end.  He also encouraged them to offer thanksgiving to God as the first good thing to do as an expression of gratitude to His loving kindness and unspeakable gift. The ceremony lasted for about 11 hours.
